About Our Adoption Process
Are you the purrfect home for one of our cats?
At Cats Anonymous, we believe that every cat has a perfect home and every home has a perfect cat. Our goal is to match each cat with a family where they will be loved for a lifetime. By understanding your needs and preferences, we can help you find the cat that best fits your home, which can result in a happy, successful adoption.
What’s Included?
All of our cats some with:
• Spayed or neutered
• Microchip Identification
• Up to date on vaccinations
• Parasite treatment
• FeLV & FIV testing
• Complete Medical History provided at adoption
Adoption Fees:
• Kittens (under 1 year): $225
• Adult Cats (1 – 9 years): $200
• Senior Cats (10+ years): $125
• Special Needs Cats: $100
• Bonded Pairs: $350
• Barn Cats: Donation to a feral cat program
How to Adopt:
Step 1: Visit a “Meet & Greet Event
Start by meeting our adoptable kitties at one of our weekend Meet & Greet Events (currently listed on our Main Page). Our volunteers will introduce you to our fabulous felines and help you find the right match!
Step 2: Fill Out an Adoption Questionnaire
Once you’ve met the cats, complete our Adoption Questionnaire and send it to us for review.
Step 3: Screening & Approval
Our team will review your application and ensure the match is a good fit. We’ll contact you via email once your application is approved.
Step 4: Pick-Up Appointment
After approval, we’ll schedule with you a pick-up appointment where you’ll receive:
• Your cat’s medical history and adoption papers
• Guidance on how to help your new furry friend adjust to their new home
• Your new best friend, of course!
We are a volunteer-run organization, which means all adoptions are done by appointment only. This process ensures that each cat finds a home where they will be loved, cherished, and cared for – forever.
