About Our Adoption Process

Are you the purrfect home for one of our cats?

Here at Cats Anonymous, we strive to match up the right cat with the right family, and to ensure that our cats are adopted into homes where they will be a part of the family, forever. We firmly believe that there is the right home for every cat, and the right cat for every home. By identifying your needs and lifestyle, and matching you up with the cat(s) that fit those criteria, we are more likely to have a happy, successful adoption.

All our cats are spayed or neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, treated for parasites and blood tested for feline leukemia (FeLV) & feline immune deficiency virus (FIV). You will be given a copy of their medical history when you adopt.

Our adoption fees:

Kittens: $225.00 Adult cats (1 – 9 years): $200.00 Senior cats (10+ year): $125.00  Special needs cats: $100.  Bonded pairs: $350.00  Barn cats: A donation to a feral cat program

Because we are a volunteer organization, all adoptions are done by appointment. We ask that you begin by visiting the cats at one of our weekend “Meet and Greet” events. These are listed on our events page. Our volunteer hosts will be happy to introduce you to our fabulous felines and help you find the purrfect match! Be sure to give them as much information as you can about the kind of kitty you are looking for and your family situation so they can guide you towards the best fit for your home. You can then fill out the Adoption Questionnaire below, and forward it to us so that we can do our routine screening and make sure that this is the right kitty for your home situation. Once your application has been processed we will then contact you by email to move forward. After adoptions are approved we book a pick up appointment where you will receive all the information you need to know about your new furry friend. This gives us time to prepare your cat’s medical history and adoption papers, and will give you time to prepare your home for the new addition.

Drop By and See Who’s There!

Some of our cats and kittens can be seen at and adopted through local pet supply stores. These stores help support our shelter by offering our cats and kittens additional exposure which helps them be seen more easily by the public and find their forever homes more quickly. We are so grateful for their generosity and kindness!
