One in four but one of a kind (because she’s orange!)

Sophia is a sweet, affectionate, and playful girl who knows exactly how to get your attention. If she’s alone in the singles room, you’ll hear her gentle meows calling you in and let’s be honest, it works on us every time. She loves people, thrives on attention, and has a curious streak that keeps us all smiling.

Sophia was surrendered because she didn’t get along with the dogs in her previous home, and she doesn’t seem too keen on other cats either. This is why you’ll find her in our singles cat room, where she can soak up all the love for herself—and she’s living for it.

She’s looking for a quiet, adult-only home with no other pets where she can be your one and only. Trust us: she’s more than enough to fill your heart up past the “do not fill” line.

Oh, and did we mention she’s orange and female? That’s rare! Only about 1 in 4 orange cats are female. It’s a genetics thing, in which orange colouring is linked to the X chromosome, and females need two copies of the gene to show that fiery coat.
