Meet Beans!

Beans is a big boy with a big personality! Beans came to us when he had a couple of incidences of displaced aggression towards his humans–something (a loud noise) upset/spooked him and he lashed out. His owner was heartbroken to give him up, but her living arrangements involved other folks who were uncomfortable with his previous ‘outbursts’.  Since coming to the shelter, Beans has not had an aggressive moments.

Beans is a friendly, chatty boy who is always looking to be busy. He is food motivated, however he would benefit from losing some of his voluptuousness. Beans has had some urinary issues in the past; he should remain on a urinary diet to keep these previous issues at bay. Beans did previously live with another cat quite happily, but he does appear to be particular about which cats he approves of, and those he doesn’t. Beans would do best in a mature home, with cat-savvy folks who understand his body language to avoid any further issues with displaced aggression.
